Just as Lebanon is a “Message” so too is the Beirut Marathon Association. Since its inception, it has stood for far more than a running event, it has become a national necessity, offering our people a space to express unity, love, and shared purpose. It inspires participants to push their limits for a higher cause, and showcases Lebanon as a modern, liberal, and beautiful country.

Antonio Vincenti

Chairman & CEO Pikasso

The BMA represents a lifestyle game changer for our fellow citizens from all walks of life, and it’s the only event where people with special needs are an integral part of the community of runners and find back their dignity in public. The positive influence goes therefore much beyond the four main annual races at an individual level. Furthermore, the BMA has contributed to a system of sustainability for local NGO’s, the backbone of our country in the total absence of public services and support.
