10km Runners
– Training Program The
only qualification is “a desire to run”
Marathon
Beginners
Participants should
have run a 10km race in the past and desire to achieve the
marathon in over 4 hours.
Marathon
Experts
Participants should have run a half marathon in the past and run
regularly, expecting to achieve the marathon in under 4 hours
Training
Days: Tuesday
Thursday Friday Sunday
Training Time
& Place
18:00 hours – start at
the Hard Rock Café Ain el Mreisseh
Medical
fitness
It is recommended for
all persons entering the BMA Marathon Training Program to obtain
a general medical fitness examination from their GP
Coaching
There are four qualified coaches who will be on hand to advise
you on training and to prepare you before & during each run –
coaches are provided by the Veteran’s Club whichis
a member of the LAF
Cost There is a
monthly 10,000 LBP registration fee which includes water,
gatorade and covers the coaching costs
Gatorade
Sampling of Gatorade will take place on each run
Trophies There
will be a trophy for the first man and first women over the
marathon finish line from each of the two programs (four
trophies)
