  Rules & Regulations
The race is open to all athletes of Lebanese or foreign nationality.
The competitors must comply with age limitations. Age categories will be given a separate classification.
Runners compete in the race under their own responsibility.
Nobody can run the track without official registration. Runners without the running BIB will be directed off the course immediately.
Roller-skates, inline skates, bikes, baby strollers or carriages of any kind are not allowed on the course. If you are caught with any of these, you will be directed off of the route.
Please do not run with your baby or child under 7 years old.
A pack of thousands of runners poses a serious risk hazard to your child or baby. As cute as you and your baby will look, we do not want you (or us) to take this risk. Participants under 9 years old are not covered by our insurance.
Walkers are asked to start near the end of the pack to avoid being crowded or bumped.
Pets are forbidden on the course. No four-legged runners!
Marathoners may not swap race numbers or timing chip device. Violators risk disqualification from race.
Please do not wear jewelry or carry precious items with you during the marathon. The BMA will not be held responsible for any lost valuables.
Participants racing in wheelchairs are required to wear helmets throughout the race.
 
 
 
     
  The Miziara 08 Cross Coutry Run comprises of 3 separate races on Sunday, 10 August and a Tourist Walk on Saturday, 9 August.

  Race Course  
  The course is tough and starts at the top of a mountain, winding its way down through the forests and finally into the heart of the village of Miziara. The village square is charming, and after running through the square, comes the finish line. Total distance 9.5k  
     
  Tourist Walk on Saturday  
 
  • Participants should fill the regsitration form
  • BIB for every participant with the certificatef on the back of the BIB.
  • Certificates will be accredited at the finish line.
  • At the start line participants will be given 2 rubber bands which one will be taken at the control point and the other at finish line.
  • Participants must collect their BIB number from Miziara Club on Saturday 9 Aug between 11:00 and 3:30 pm.
 
     
  Your Running Number  
 

You can choose to receive your running bibs from one of the following places:
- Wednesday 6 Aug from the BMA office - Hazmieh between 11:00 and 9:00 pm
- Thursday 7 Aug: From Tripoli between 11:00 and 6:00 pm
- Saturday 9 Aug: From Miziara Club between 11:00 and 6:00 pm.
They will come with safety pins. Attach your running number to the front of your running vest. Do not cut or fold your running number in any way - it is contrary to the rules and will lead to your disqualification.

  
     
 
IMPORTANT: You must not use someone else’s number, and do not let anyone else use yours. Your name, race category, gender, and age will be identified on your number.
