Insert the plastic tie strap into one of the
square holes of the chip. Make sure that the
strap goes in through the top side first.

Insert the strap underneath your shoelace. MAKE
SURE THE LONGER END OF THE MIDDLE TUBE IS
POINTING DOWNWARDS. If your ChampionChip is not
facing downwards, you will not receive proper
timing.

Insert the strap back up the second square hole.
Secure it firmly against your shoe.

|

Buckle up your strap tightly. CAREFUL: Once you
do this the strap will not reopen unless you cut
it off. Make sure your ChampionChip is now
fixed firmly on your shoe.

Cut of the remaining end of the strap with some
scissors. You should leave a small bit so that
the strap does not fall off!

The chip can be damaged by extreme shocks and by
cooking it in a microwave oven.

Remove the chip before putting the shoe in the
washing machine.
|

If you cannot finish the race, return your chip
only to designated race officials.

Do not cross the systems by walking on your
hands. Your chip will not be read.
