The Beirut Marathon Association has finished filming the TVC for its BLOM Beirut Marathon2011 campaign. The filming took place under the general direction of Horizon Draft FCB,represented by Alain Hochar.A number of veteran runners from all ages participated in the filming of the TVC, with Mr.Assaad Roufael who had the lead role, and who put in a long day of running in order to bestportray the Marathon spirit.The TVC was shot in the Mathaf area of Beirut and in the Lebanese Golf Club gym, withthe logistical support of the municipality of Beirut and the general directorate of the InternalSecurity. Catering was provided to cast and crew by Socrate, the official caterer of the BeirutMarathon.The production and shooting was done by “Third Eye Fx” and the technical equipment wasdonated by “Platform Studios”. The TVC was directed by Henry Bassil, with Dory Aoun asDirector of Photography. Still photographs were taken by Cedric Ghosoub.The TVC will be shown for the first time at the BLOM Beirut Marathon 2011 press conferencewhich is organized by the Beirut Marathon Association. This press conference will take place onTuesday September 6 to officially launch the full campaign for the race which is scheduled forSunday November 7, 2011.
